The B-Sharp sheds all of the non-essential cosmetic adornments of the C-Major without compromising performance or mechanical integrity, providing vinyl enthusiasts with a superb playback option at a more affordable price. The B-Sharp turntable features the new B-Note tonearm, made from a carbon fiber alloy that is light yet rigid with a black anodized aluminum headshell. The B-Note tonearm provides all of the key features for cartridge alignment and adjustability: VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle), SRA (Stylus Rake Angle), VTF (Vertical Tracking Force), azimuth and a slotted headshell for overhang / offset angle. The C- SHARP Thanks to new materials like Carbon Fibre and Termoplastic Elastomer Eat was designing a new superflat table. The low profil base chassis is made out of highest density MDF. Because of its flatness this base sits perfectly stable on any surface! On this base the ultra low noise motor is mounted as well as 10 damping feets out of energy absorbing TPE (Termoplastic Elastomers = Hightech high energy absorbing damping material). The cone shape TPE columns carry a SANDWICH subchassis out of Carbon Fibre and MDF composite with ultimate rigidity. The stiffness is important to be a super rigid base for the tonearm/cartridge and bearing/platter as there must be 100 % no moving tolerance between the distance of the groove and the tracking cartridge. All the rumble of the platter / bearing is directed in the TPE columns. On opposite the TPE avoid that any unwanted energie of motor and surface or surrounding vibration leads to the subchassis or even to the tonearm cartridge. The bearing is an oversized inverted with a inert, resonance free ceramic ball on top Around the bearing we set a super heavy 700g mass point which sucks up all energy arround.The stiff carbon subchassis helps to transport all vibration in this mass point.So vibrations are transferred in heat The platter intself is from a special alloy of very inert aluminium and is also damped by TPE inserts-It from 2 parts a subplatter and a mainplatter to keep it flat although having very high mass and kinetic energie. The belt is made from special anti-static rubber. It’s glued and then polished. The tonearm itself is a completely new design which combines all advantages of a unipivot arm with a cardan design. European Audio Team Announces Its Third Turntable … With A Radical New Tonearm!  EAT’s E-Flat is a new, forward-thinking turntable supplied with a revolutionary flat tonearm. Although flat arms have been seen in the past, none have been able to offer the rigidity necessary to deliver the stable performance expected of modern tonearms. Thanks to the continued evolution of carbon fibre, Forte has been able to create an arm with the practical and aesthetic benefits of a flat form, but without the weaknesses. E-Flat’s mission is to bring to the music lover the highest quality performance, but in a user-friendly design. Ultra-flat, ultra-light and ultra-rigid, the E-Flat tonearm measures 10in long. A unipivot bearing supports the E-Flat, its fully (and easily) adjustable counterweight decoupled by energy- and vibration-absorbing Sorbothane. The E-Flat’s unipivot system is extremely precise and accurately balanced, thanks to components endowed with especially hard metal surfaces. Unwanted motion often attributed to lesser unipivot designs is eliminated by the high mass of unipivot housing and the added security of two metal guides. A further valuable benefit is that its carbon-fibre arm “tube” can be changed by the user to address to specific cartridge requirements, with either lighter or heavier tubes to establish different arm/cartridge resonant frequencies. Adjustable anti-skating and a damped cueing lever are also fitted. A flat arm tube opens up a number of possibilities for the designer – and the listener. Its shape encourages the design of a flatter platter with easier, visible arm levelling, and there is no taper to accommodate. With perfect integration to the unipivot design pillar, no hollow tube to suffer the inevitable echo effects or ringing, greater stiffness, a new and superior hanging counterweight design with very high damping properties, the E-Flat tonearm’s performance is truly quiet and incredibly “fast.” This handsome and innovative arm is fitted to a turntable that adheres to the basic principles established by the existing models in the Forte family. A belt-drive design, it features two motors, like its ‘bigger sisters’. The two motors do not run in parallel, but act like a virtual 24-pole motor. The belt encircles an inner sub-platter, which is fitted with inside bearing made out of bronze bushings. The main platter rests on an inverted bearing and a ceramic ball, with a Teflon lining on the underside of the main platter. As with the larger Forte record decks, the diameter of the platter is oversized compared to those on most competitors’ turntables. 33cm was chosen because the moving mass is twice that of a standard 30cm platter. Forte fits a vinyl mat made of recycled LP records to create a surface with properties sympathetic to the LPs it supports. The platter is filled underneath with Sorbothane to stop resonance, while Sorbothane is also used to damp the bearing housing, tonearm base and magnetic feet. GIRADISCHI “FORTE” by EAT Il progetto del giradischi EAT “Forte” è basato su due elementi costruttivi fondamentali: sottotelaio separato e massa considerevole. Nel “Forte” EAT ha realizzato appieno tali caratteristiche. La struttura del telaio è molto pesante, con massa accresciuta dall’inserimento di sabbia metallica, mentre i piedi di appoggio sono sospesi magneticamente, e si comportano, in effetti, come un sottotelaio meccanicamente separato. Piatto Il piatto del “Forte” si compone di due parti. La prima sezione sfrutta una lega “dolce”, la seconda una più dura e rigida, così da contrastare la propagazione dell’energia meccanica. La prima sezione incorpora anche alcuni magneti al neodimio. Il solo piatto pesa oltre 20 kg ed ha un diametro di ben 400 mm., in luogo degli usuali 300: il risultato è che l’energia cinetica immagazzinata da questo elemento, in rotazione a 33 rpm, raggiunge l’incredibile valore di 2460 joules! Tutto ciò comporta un notevole incremento della massa mobile, a parità di peso. Il piatto contiene anche “sorbothane”, che lo rende immune dalle risonanze. Tappetino in vinile (Vynil Matt) Il tappetino “Vinyl Matt” è realizzato con dischi in vinile riciclati e costituisce un’interfaccia ottimale tra disco e piatto. Un pressore mantiene il disco a perfetto contatto con questo speciale tappetino. Costruzione del gruppo Perno-Cuscinetto Il perno è “invertito”, con alberino maggiorato e lucidato. Sulla sommità è collocata una sfera in ceramica, materiale durissimo ed inerte. Questa, in abbinamento con una placca di teflon, opera quasi fosse un cuscinetto speculare e costituisce un ottimo mezzo di smorzamento. La superficie in teflon, accuratamente satinata, assicura un moto molto fluido, “morbido” e privo di rumore (rumble). Il piatto sfrutta, poi, un sistema di sospensione magnetica con magneti al neodimio. Grazie alla sospensione magnetica è possibile mettere e mantenere in movimento la considerevole massa del piatto, senza che il perno subisca pressoché alcuna pressione (di solito un piatto molto pesante produce livelli elevati di rumore, il cosiddetto rumble). Nel “Forte” la pressione sul perno è regolabile, cosicché ciascun utente può adattarla alle proprie preferenze ed al proprio gusto, in base ai dettami delle diverse “filosofie” che esistono al riguardo. Piedi magnetici La struttura del giradischi poggia su larghi piedi magnetici, caratterizzati da uno speciale sistema di sostegno e di stabilizzazione.  Tale sistema garantitsce al “Forte” un isolamento, prossimo al 100%, dalla risonanze del pavimento e dell’ambiente. Il sistema a cuscinetto magnetico si traduce in una combinazione teflon-ceramica quanto mai silenziosa.Solitamente, pressioni elevate causano la rapida usura del perno. Ciò non accade con l’EAT “Forte”, grazie alla ridottissima pressione risultante dalla sospensione magnetica. Motore L’unità motrice del giradischi è fisicamente separata dal telaio principale, assieme a tutta la componentistica necessaria per l’alimentazione. Il ricorso a circuitazioni elettroniche molto sofisticate rende la corrente, utilizzata per il movimento del piatto, perfettamente “pulita”. Anche l’unità motrice ha peso rilevante, per minimizzare l’effetto delle vibrazioni, assorbite e dissipate attraverso l’uso di un “sandwich” di metallo ed MDF.A drastica riduzione del rumore, normalmente prodotto da qualunque motore, EAT ha fatto ricorso ad una configurazione “dual motor”: adottando due motori, di potenza relativa, il moto è silenziosissimo e la “coppia” ottimale. Trasmissione Cinghie di trasmissione molto lunghe portano, per lo più, vibrazioni difficilmente dissipabili. Per evitare questo effetto, EAT ha impiegato per il “Forte” cinghie in silicone speciale. A scongiurare i disturbi imputabili alla propagazione di vibrazioni residue, concorrono i piedi magnetici, nonché la stessa enorme massa del piatto. L’EAT “Forte” e l’energia L’energia cinetica che si propaga dal suolo è neutralizzata attraverso i piedi magnetici. L’energia trasmessa dall’aria ambientale è dissipata attraverso il massiccio telaio in MDF, riempito con sabbia metallica. L’energia proveniente dal braccio di lettura e dalla testina è assorbita dall’impiego di una base per il braccio in metallo pesante, isolata con “sorbothane”. L’energia trasmessa dalle cinghie è catturata dalla massa del piatto stesso e dalla doppia cinghia in silicone.L’energia proveniente dall’unità motrice è neutralizzata grazie dalla tecnologia del doppio motore, dalla sede separata per l’alloggiamento dei motori e dalla massa appesantita del telaio che li ospita. L’energia del perno è assorbita dalla sfera di ceramica, dalla placca in teflon e dalle caratteristiche costruttive del perno, sostenuto da magneti. In conclusione, il giradischi EAT si “mangia” (to eat…) l’energia spuria, con enorme beneficio per il risultato sonoro

A massive machine that gets the best out of your vynil. Separate Sub Chassis and a mass loaded turntable gives us the best of both worlds.  The design of the Eat Forte turntable is based on a combination of two basic principles: Separate Sub Chassis and a mass loaded turntable This gives us the best of both worlds. The chassis of the table is very heavy and mass-loaded using metal-fi lled sand. The feet are magnetic and act as a sub chassis to support the table. Platter The platter consists of two parts. The fi rst part uses a soft alloy, the second part, a harder one. This reduces energy fl ow. The fi rst part also incorporates the neodymium magnets. The platter weighs more than 20 kg (44 lbs). The diameter of the platter is 400 mm (15.75 1/2) (not the usual 300 mm [11.8 1/2]). Kinetic energy stored in such big platter turning at 33 RPM is an incredible 2460 Joules! This means that with the same weight you gain more moving mass on the platter. The platter also incorporates sorbothane damping to make it resonance free. Vinyl matt The vinyl matt is made from recycled vinyl records crating a perfect interface for the record. A clamp holds the record on the vinyl matt. Bearing construction The bearing is not standard but inverted with an oversized polished shaft. A ceramic ball is used on the top because it is very hard and inert. This, in combination with a Tefl on plate as a bearing mirror, is also a good damping device. Tefl on’s accurate satin surface produces perfectly smooth movement without any rumble. The platter has a magnetic suspension using neodymium magnets. By increasing the distance from the bearing to the cartridge, the small neodymium magnets eliminate magnetic infl uence on the cartridge. Due to the magnets we can still move a large mass allowing the bearing to see virtually no pressure. This avoids rumble. (A mass loaded platter usually causes high levels of rumble.) The pressure of the bearing is adjustable. There are existing different philosophies about bearing pressure. With the Forte turntable you can adjust it according your preferences and taste. Magnetic Feet The table has large magnetic feet with a bearing and stabilization system. It guaranties close to 100% isolation from the fl oor and from airborne resonances. The magnetic bearing system allows us to use the extra silent Tefl on-ceramic combination. Usually high pressure would cause the bearing to wear out over the time. This does not happen because of the very low pressure created by the use of the magnetic system. Motor The motor is a stand-alone, decoupled AC unit. It uses a sophisticated electronic circuit to create 100% clean AC. It is very heavy motor with lot of mass to reduce all the existing vibrations. Motor energy is absorbed by using a sandwich system of metal and MDF. We decided to use a “dual motor design” to eliminate noise in the motor. By using two relatively weak, but silent running motors, we achieve perfect torque. Belt Long belts usually have some amount of wobble. To avoid this we use a special silicon string. This movement is also absorbed by the bearing block and by the huge mass of the platter itself. EAT the Energy The EAT Forte turntable is all about eating energy.◾Energy from the ground is decoupled by magnetic feet.◾Energy from the air is decoupled from the heavy chassis that is made from MDF and fi lled metal sand.◾Energy from tone arm and cartridge is absorbed by using a heavy metal tone arm base isolated by sorbothane.◾Energy from the belt is captured by the mass of the platter and by the string itself.◾Energy from the motor is captured by the dual-motor design, the decoupled motor unit and the mass-loaded motor chassis.◾Energy of the bearing is catch by the ceramic ball, the Tefl on plate and the magnetic bearing construction. Elegant high-end tube phono pre-amplifier with ultra slim design! E-glo S – is a hybrid phono preamplifier that utIlizes ECC83 tubes (twin triode) in the first and second gain stages In order to get higher gain and lower noise we use in the first stage a cascode connection of tube with with two paralelly connected low-noise J-FET transistors. RIAA curve is equalised fully passive and splitted in two steps which allows to achieve perfect impedance matching between the gain stage and equalization block. Phono preamplifier doesn’t have any global feedback. It has a massive aluminium chassis, large possibility of adjusting the impedance, capacity and gain. It has subsonic filter with mild effect which doesn’t affect audible frequencies in unpleasant way. A very important part is the advanced power supply that uses anode voltage regulation and a well filtrated voltage. A feast for the eyes!  EAT E-GLO phono stage, Prague, 10 May 2013: Completing its analogue ‘front-end’, E.A.T. proudly announces the definitive phono stage to accept the signals from its range of turntables, tone-arms and Yosegi cartridges. The E-GLO looks and performs like no other, a design so clever and attractive that owners will want to give it pride-of-place in their sound systems. After all, it complements the stunning Forté, Forté S and E-Flat turntables! First shown privately to the trade at CES in Las Vegas this past January 13, E-Glo is now ready for its public debut at the Munich High End Show. E-Glo is an all-tube design completely free of semiconductors in its signal path. Its tube complement consists of the classic glassware beloved of audiophiles: four ECC83s and two ECC88s. The use of these valves will ensure that supplies of replacement tubes are always readily available, while experimentation is encouraged for those who love to fine-tune the sound of their systems by changing tubes, such as EAT’s premium offerings.In the fully-balanced input stage, we fitted a Lundahl step up transformer with an amorphous core, type LL1932. The unit’s gain is 45db, plus the voltage gain of the step-up transformer. E-Glo’s amplifier section uses split, fully passive equalisation, without any equalisation in global negative feedback loop, which can harm the sound. At this level of performance, only the best components will suffice. The choice of output capacitor is the highly-praised Mundorf. All other capacitors are WIMA. Mundorf Connectors with Teflon insulation have been chosen for their unparalleled integrity. To ensure the utmost flexibility, to ensure perfect matching to a wide range of cartridges, the E-Glo provides capacitance loading for moving-magnet types in six user-switchable steps from 47pf to 900pF. ‘The loading resistance for moving-coil cartridges is continuously adjustable,’ says Lichtenegger, ‘as we already have on our Phono Box RS.’ Ensuring quiet operation is the use of an external power supply, connected to the E-Glo via a special 9-pin connector, familiar to those who recall the legendary Cello Palette preamplifier. Its heart is a custom-made toroid transformer. The transformer features double shielding between the primary and secondary windings. This avoids the intrusion of RFI, while acting as superior mains filter. Separate power supplies feed the tube phono preamplifier because the best way to shield a mains transformer from electromagnetic radiation of is to distance it from the electronics. Metal shielding alone cannot perform the task as well as a separate power supply. For the rectifying circuitry, EAT fitted special diodes with noise suppressing resistors. Also employed are high-quality electrolytic capacitors, followed by a voltage regulator with capacitor multiplier. The power component is a FET transistor. A feast for the eyes, the handsomely styled E-Glo is housed in a 435x60x250mm chassis, is valves peering through cleverly design heat sinks that recall the two spools of a reel-to-reel tape deck. Across the front section are rows of switches for instant access to all settings – no need to ‘get inside’ to set the E-Glo for your cartridge of choice.
